PMarx
I suppose my question is, which file type (pdf overlay or jpg) increases the AutoCAD file the least? A pdf is a vector image and a jpg is a raster image? I think I'm clear on how to insert both but I'm trying to keep the file size as small as possible. Any opinions/advice would be appreciated. ReMark
The simple answer would be to run a test and then compare the two file sizes wouldn't it?

f700es
Remember that a PDF can also be a scanned PDF which would make it a raster

I tend to opt for CAD geometry only so if i had a Vector PDF id convert it to CAD and not worry about the attachments. Then again this is just my preferred work flow.
