Hi all and please excuse my posting if there is already an identical solved post.

So, the thing is.. I would love to be able to click on an object that I have extruded and see the dimensions in all three directions. Currently, when i select an extruded object (prt sc attached) its quick properties height and z direction are 40 mm (as I would have expected), yet the x and y directions both read 0s. what could be the reason?

Vanilla Autocad doesn't do that, probably some of the verticals might, like the Structural Detailing ones, or the BIM based ones. I use ProSteel which does that, because the shapes you are extruding come from an extensive database onboard, which describes those other dimensions. :|
