Autocad 3D shadow

I don't know how Autocad deals with lighting, but whenever I see that in other programs it's typically because there is a single parallel (sun) light source and no active global illumination. Does Autocad perhaps have a setting that lets you change the color or the brightness on global illumination?

Try adjusting the Exposure Settings. Also, the Sun Settings could be tweaked as well. FG and GI must be on, which it already sounds like you've got it.

Enabling Global Illumination should solve that issue with the heavy dark shadows. Are you absolutely sure you have it enabled? Sometimes Autocad disables things when you make changes, like if you switch from High Quality to Presentation. Just make sure to double check that it is in fact enabled. And as Tannar mentioned, enabling Final Gather will also help. Beyond that, you will just have to start tweaking your Advanced Render Settings. Things like Sampling, Ray Tracing, GI and FG photons & rays, etc.
