iztok13
Hello, I have problem to get polyline where two surfaces are crossing. I have an existing ground surface and another surface lets say a waterline surface. Now i need to get polyline where these surface are intersect. Is there any chance to get these? Sorry form my bad english. Thx..
BIGAL
Waterline is easy as its a known contour value you may need to set a style to get it to show. Let me think how did I do it last time. Intersection of 2 surfaces say sloping would be at again cut/fill is zero. Good question. Dont do very often.
iztok13
ok i did it. Create a new volume-surface that shows Surf1-Surf2, set the style to show contours (just one contour at elevation = 0) and extract that contour as this is the intersection-line between Surf1 and Surf2. thx bigal for replaying
JerryG
Another way to do it is create an assembly that has the option to simply target your existing surface so that you could see exactly were they meet.
