halam
Having a drinking problem..? ;-) I think you did some solid and boolean operations. A extrusion over a path, the bottom plate added later? Tip before the party starts.. always save the primitives. ;-)
paulmcz
You drew a rectangle, filleted the corners, trimmed the half of it out, drew the cross section, extruded the cross section along the path of the filleted half-rectangle, copied the result, rotated the new copy by 180 deg, connected and joined the two pieces in union. wise-man
thx a lot guys dear halam no it's not drinking problem but I did it since long time the first step I drew 2d filleted rectangle and then drew an arc to help me to make a 3d curved frame with sweep or revolve command this step is forgotten the frame was one piece I didn't use union command and the bottom plate mostly added later by extrude the rectangle I'm not sure thx again so much
paulmcz
It was just a wild guess from me but that's how I did it in about 2 minutes time, giving it no specific dimensions.

I will tell you how that is too easy bro I think now remember how I did it and all what I can tell you that I used sweep and arc

Dadgad
Are you trying to avoid making it into a 3D Solid? Instead of using an arc, you could have created a closed polyline, which when swept along your Path would have generated a 3D Solid, which is what I prefer to work with. Do you only want a Surface? If so, how you did it will suffice.
