    Just as an aside try making ice crystals !

    A wee seasonal variation on the spur gear. Use
    a high SURFTAB1 value 200> and then use RULESURF.

    I gave a quick try to a felical gear and this is the result with no lisp, surftab or rulesurf.
    It can be done in other shape too.

    Orbit, give us a little more information... namely, is it a solid or a surface? If it is a solid, was one tooth created > polar arrayed > subtract from cylinder? It is good looking however you did it.

    Thank you Flores. You are right. It is a solid and I used PLINE for the tooth profile- EXTRUDE the tooth profile ( PATH)- ARRAY ( the tooth)- USBSTRACT- UNION.
