Assembly Drawing

I am required to do a detail cut list for the project I am working, I am designing a meat rail.

I used structural member when creating the rail, when i go into the drawing section and click "bodies" in the reference section to select each part individually as it goes different directions and angles, it will only let me select it as a whole. is there a way I could turn that off as each line was drawn as an individual sketch so that I can do each part measurement separately?

So you are trying to detail each body of a structural weldment and its bringing the whole thing? Are you dealing with a single multi-body weldment file or do you jave an assembly that contains a weldment as onr component?

AnnekeL, if you are dealing with a Multi_body(part file) when you make a drawing view in the top of the property for that drawing view(shown in the Feature Manger on the left) you can use "Select Bodies" and grab a single body from your file.

Just an FYI if you have structural members you don't have to detail them individually. If you go to "tables>weldment cut list" it will make a list of each structural member and their length. There are many properties you can include in the cut list(you can customize the columns with things like length, angle1/angle2, and really any property in the Cutlist). If you were asked to make a detailed cutlist this is likely what you are supposed to do.
