marko_ribar
I just run across this bug - see attached DWG... When converted to REGIONS the area is correct, but like they are - complex SPLINES they both give AREA=1.0... I solved my task prior they are created when they were REGIONS, but I know this shouldn't happen... (vlax-curve-getarea curve) is also not helping and also (vla-get-area (vlax-ename->vla-object curve))... Have you seen this, some opinion? M.R. The Nickster
You should be able to control everything from your properties dialogue box, type in "PR" and hit enter, select the spline and you can control it; and it will tell you the area in the properties dialogue box, you don't have to do the "AREA" command anymore. It may not be coplanar, or it may be unjoined at segments. You can PEDIT the polyline and join the segments or fillet the edges with a '0' radius. See if that helps. marko_ribar
I can't do like you said, I want everything exactly like it is... The only way to retrieve AREA info is to convert to REGION and do UNDO... It's a bug... More ab this here : https://www.theswamp.org/index.php?PHPSESSID=uer9i680o0vtdvlv92m0ktmtb2&topic=51614.0 M.R.
