Greendamo Posted July 1, 2016 Share Posted July 1, 2016 Hi, I draw, 3D model (iges) and render (KS) small bits of ironmongery and was just wondering what i should be charging in £? at the moment i am just charging a small hourly rate but I'm not sure if I'm charging the right amount. Ive been praised on many occasion about the quality of the renders I produce and how realistic they are so I know i doing a good job but would like to price accordingly ;-) Could any one tell me what they charge as an example? f700es Posted July 1, 2016 Share Posted July 1, 2016 There is nothing wrong with an hourly rate for jobs. If you make a "happy buck" off of it and clients are happy then it's a win-win. Not sure how much that would be worth over there with the British pound but over here I charge $20/hr for drafting/modeling work and $25/hr for true design and planning on side jobs.
