Draw n'go
first post here. I use cad 2016 2d so when I plot, but only when I have more than one tab (in cad) open, it waits maybe a second or two, then crashed the program. Ill try and get the error code. So I can only have one dwg file open at a time... any ideas? thank you

Draw n'go
this happens all the time. for example I just opened two very simple drawings (1,126 and 2,022 kb) in a-cad 2016 and went to plot. typed in ctrl+p, then preview, then this message came up, "FATAL ERROR: unhandled access violation reading 0x0048 exception at d36f34d9h"
rkmcswain
At the command prompt, type in PLOTTERMANAGER. This will open Windows Explorer to the folder that contains the PC3 files (and there will probably be a sub-folder that contains the PMP files). As a test, remove all of the PC3 files and the sub-folder "PMP Files". Close AutoCAD and then restart. Try the PLOT command again. Does it still crash? If not, then start adding PC3 files back in, one at a time and repeating the test, until it does crash. If it still crashes with no PC3 files, then it could be a system printer. Do you have any Windows printers installed that are no longer functioning (pointing to a dead network resource, or a printer you no longer have?)
