andy_06
Hi, I have created a dynamic block and it all works how I want it to. It has a number of lookups/visibility states and I was wondering if there was a way of asking the user which properties they would like to select as they insert the block? This would help save time as the user can input the properties they require for each lookup/visibility state at the beginning instead of bringing in the block and then selecting each individual lookup. Thanks.
BIGAL
If you look at Lee-mac website he has a Dynamic block lisp for editing dynamic block properties. The only problem is if you go down this path you need to ask questions first then you need maybe a front end like a dialouge then insert the block, and make the updates. An example via lisp "Enter width" "Enter length" Insert block Use lee' dynamic block update for L & W Need your block to be posted to get any idea of whats involved and what variables to be questioned. Ok thanks for that, I will have a look. I am basically looking for something like the 'Custom' section of the Properties menu to show as the user inserts the block but I am not sure if it is possible.
