They are "basic" drawings, a couple parts. I do not have the ability to PM on this forum yet, I did have one guy message me that I received through email. I explained it to him but I have yet to hear a response from him.

Is there a reason you cannot describe them here, in your thread?

That would be the quickest and easiest way to get them done. :|

Copy and Paste the email description here maybe?

not really, I thought maybe I could share the drawings in an email attachment. That is if I can figure out how to scan and send. I think I can do that. lol, not really that tech savy. Obviously if I'm on here asking for help. I've almost thrown my computer out the window over this.

Don't throw out your computer.

What are the drawings of?

Plenty of highly tech savy folks ask questions on the forum.

The fact that you have posted doesn't mean you are a dim bulb.

Nor, does it rule it out, by definition.

Parts, parts of what?

Words should suffice for the time being. :|

Now we are getting somewhere.

Would those be steel plates, dinner plates, engraving plates of $100 bills?

Drawing a CIRCLE is pretty easy, if you use the CIRCLE command.

But I digress, please give us a bit more info?

steel plates...although I'll take the engraved plates, lol. I'm sure it is simple for most anyone. that is what is frustrating for me. I've bought a book and everything and when I try to do what it is teaching me I end up not even being close or deleting stuff or having stuff in another area altogether.

What is the purpose of the drawings?

When you tried to do them, were you in MODELSPACE, probably with a black background color?

I just created a Circle with a 2000 mm diameter, and I have copied in the commands I used to do it, from my Commandline History

Command: circle

Specify center point for circle or [3P/2P/Ttr (tan tan radius)]:

Specify radius of circle or [Diameter]: 2000

Command: *Cancel*

It is important to read all of the commandline prompts, especially until such a time as one is pretty familiar with the software.

In order to specify the center of the circle, all you need to do is to left click on your mouse.

After the circle has been created, just hit the Esc key, to stop the circle command from reiterating the prompts, as if you wanted to continue making other circles.

it had a black background so I'm guessing modelspace. I'm going to retire for the evening but thank you for your willingness to help. hopefully I can get them straightened out tomorrow sometime. If not, oh well... :(

Please look at what I added to my previous post first?

They, so you want multiple circles then?

No time like the present.

What size circle/circles are you trying to create, and how thick is the steel meant to be?
