Hi,

I am looking for some help to interact with excel data through lisp.in detail...

i have an excel file with data "Area Code", "Area". looking for lisp to take the "Area code" as user input in AutoCad and do the vlookup in excel and get the corresponding "Area" as input to lisp. after getting "Area", i would like to create a rectangle (block with Area and Area Code as attributes) by selecting one side from the existing drawing, (the other side length/width shall be calculate by dividng "Area" by the selected length)and insert the block in the same direction.
