If you had carried out a simple search you would have found this excellent Mobius thread
by Fuccaro, as well as a few other threads

    Exclamation still need help... ellipse/mobius

Registered forum members do not see this ad.

I visited the forum's archive hendie mentioned (http://www.cadtutor.net/forum/showth...ghlight=mobius) & I found the mobius strip, solid and the "Twisted thorus", made by fuccaro. The closest to what I try to create is the “rectangular cross section and eliptycal path”

I actually want to create sth like this ( attached), a mobius surface and a mobius solid which have ellipse as a plan section, but I need to create it in a more specific way, so that I can easily control any changes I want to make.

Is there anyone who could help me??????

And a second question….whenf I finally manage to make the “ellipse- mobius band”

--How could I control-choose the points where the twist starts being more intense?
--How could I control the angle created by the sides and the “ground”?

By controlling these, you can create different mobius bands, which all have the same ellipse, as a plan section.

The answer might be simple… probably by changing some parameters on the code, but I have no idea about v.lisp and it all looks Chinese to me!

    please... HELP !!!

    Thnx
