markv
I am attempting to create a new tool palette. I have tried everything but Autocad 2017 will not write the tool palette to ANY folder. I have all of the network permissions to do so and I have even created a folder on my C: drive to no avail. I have imported palettes, tried creating new etc. nothing works. I have even reset the paths to defoualtand it will not write. Any ideas?
ReMark
Did you talk with anyone from your IT department? Did you find a solution to your problem?
eyeofnewt555
When you go into your options > files > tool palettes file locations, what file path is at the top of the list? New palettes will be created in which ever folder is at the top. Maybe somehow yours is directing to a read only folder? Sorry if you already know all this, but it was news to me and would have helped to hear when first creating palettes, so I figured better safe than sorry.
