dwld
Hello everyone. Does anyone know good books for beginners in LISP-programming? Best regards Robin
halam
Still enjoy a good piece of paper next to the screens ;-) I once had the R14 AutoCAD reference i learned a lot from. More like a dictionary bu i find that very usefull. Found the R13 for you on google or you can print the Bricscad pages on lisp good luck! http://docs.autodesk.com/ACDMAC/2013/ENU/PDFs/acdmac_2013_autolisp_reference_guide.pdf https://www.bricsys.com/bricscad/help/en_US/CurVer/DevRef/index.html?page=source%2FTX_01.htm

lrm
When I learned AutoLisp over 10 years ago I found the following book very helpful. It does a good job explaining the syntax of AutoLISP although it does not address the changes that have been made with the Visual LISP editor. https://www.amazon.com/AutoLISP-Programming-Rod-Rawls/dp/1566374170/ref=sr_1_5?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1484324825&sr=1-5&keywords=autolisp With Autodesk's transition from AutoLisp to Visual LISP I think the following book looks like a better book for the beginning user. It references the current user interface and the major changes in structuring a Visual LISP program since the original days of AutoLISP. https://www.amazon.com/Language-Development-Environment-AutoCAD-experts-ebook/dp/B00C8W2CIQ/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1484324995&sr=1-1&keywords=visual+lisp ~Lee
