Command "TRS" - Would anyone be familiar with this older command? Whats a replacement

So a coworker of mine used to use a command called TRS. This would align text by selecting them and with one click they all line up. I told him about the Text Align command but he said that was not the same. He is using SurvCAD with AutoCad embedded. He told me that the command was apart of express tools he believes. Also said it was 2007 (he believes). As always, any and all help is much appreciated.

I cannot find any reference to a command by those three letters for AutoCAD 2007.

Maybe it was a Carlson command.

I checked out pages 120 & 121 they are talking about Data Depot. Was the the sheet you were referring to?

Oops. Scratch that I was looking at the wrong page numbers. He said that he has that command. What it does, if you want the text lined up vertical its puts the in a vertical line but if they are spaced apart vertically, they do not join together. does that make sense? Say you have a text height of 1. The text are on the Y axis at say, 2, 8 & 12. The text stays at that height. it doesn't make them at say... one at 2 one at 3 and one at 4. I really hope that made some sense.

Dang. If you can't find anything.....that's a brain scratcher then. I believe it's a SurvCAD and not AutoCAD.

TEXTALIGN will do exactly that. Hint - have polar or ortho on.

I'm a huge fan of OSnap Tracking.

Unfortunately, he does not have the TEXTALIGN command like we do. I tried that one out. I have attached a pic of his command line running the command that he has, TXTLINEUP.

TXTLINEUP is a Carlson command. (It was my first guess after reading a command name like that...)

Thats the same one that I took a pic of. This is the one you referred to in your first post. TXTLINEUP, from what he tells me, will not work. I don't think I explained it correctly. From your pic, the text lines up but thats only because they were already lined up vertically. If the text were spaced further apart, vertically, they would stay in their vertical positions when they are aligned horizontally. He wants them to align both vertically as well as horizontally. If you try to run a vertical alignment on the text from your picture, they just end up on top of one another. I'm thinking maybe Lee has a LISP that could replace TXTLINEUP?

I found a LISP Routine from LEE MAC Programming that will work for him. Is it even possible to load a LISP Routine in SurvCAD 2014??

Not if this is the version of Carlson built on AutoCAD OEM.
