edsweld
I accidentally removed drawings from drawing recovery manager thinking that I was just removing it from the list and not from my computer. Is there a way to get it back?
ReMark
Try searching your hard drive for files of the type .sv$ for starters.
rkmcswain
Removing items from the Drawing Recovery palette does not delete them from disk. You'll just have to find them manually. By default, autosave files are in %temp%
edsweld
Thanks all! I found it I forgot that cleaned up some folders and moved that file. Autocad had it listed in the recent dwg list but couldnt find it so I panicked. Evidently it wasnt open long enough for an autosave anyways. It was a recovered file that I renamed xxx recovered.dwg just moments before
ReMark
You renamed AND you moved it. That explains everything. Well, glad to hear you eventually found it. Thanks for updating us. Lesson learned right?
