Computer Fan

Hello!

Im struggling with the modeling of a Computer fan. My idea is to make a fan with a diameter of 120 mm and to make it look somethin like the fan in the picture. 1.

To create the fan blades I have used a coil and then tried to make the soft edges using a sketch and then cuting it out (fillet did not work well because I could'nt get the shape I was looking for).

The thing that I ran upon was that when I used a circular patern it cut out things of the other fan blades and it al ended up in a mess..

Any suggestions on solutions?

Attach your file(s) here.

If you want the blades uniform thickness, then I would use a trimmed surface coil.

Then Thicken.

If you want non-uniform thickness then that becomes a bit more difficult using Loft.

Of course, create one blade and pattern.

Not quite the same as your design - but might give you some ideas.

This isn't inventor, and its really old, but here was a fan tutorial i probably did about 7 years ago in solidworks.

page 33 is where i make the blades and one method. I actually just did a plastic part design course for Pluralsight creating a pc fan. I did this with Fusion360 but the process is similar.
