You probably want to use the SWEEP command, and I suggest choosing an isometric view while you do this.

Thenks but look attentively these forms, you realy think that sweep can help?

At first glance I would say you could probably sweep a profile along a curve to complete the top piece of moulding.

This is what I came up with as a result.

The moulding inserted into place looks like this. Note: center board removed for clarity.
