never ending trim

Hello,

I´ve just found myself with a the pain staking task of triming an infinite number of lines inbetween two parallel ones.

Is there an easier way to do this?

EXTRIM should do the job

You might have to join the 2 parallel lines at the end to make it one poly line.

Use a crossing window on the outer parts of the lines.

are you trying to pick each in turn? If so having selected your trim edges, click above your first line to be trimed, then drag lightly left and down and click below your last item to be trimmed. AutoCAD isn't very good if you pan during your selection so if the parallel lines are far enough apart it is best to do this with everything on the screen.

that´s the problem, the lines are too big to cross select everthing,

if there was a way to just select the two lines and trim everthing inside...
