I have been trying to fix a linetype issue in AutoCAD 2004. It is dashing my leader lines. I have set all my linetines to continuous and checked to make sure my linetype style command wasn't set at dashed. When I draw any type of line it is now dashing them too.

My coworker opened the file on her computer and it is showing the leaders properly as continuous. I even reloaded the software and it is still showing the continuous line as a dashed line.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

When did the problem first occur?

If you open a different drawing and draw a new line does the same thing happen?

It almost sounds like you are drawing on a layer that has a linetype already defined for it but you said you checked, right?

The problem first occured today when I plotted and the linetypes were dashed. I don't remember having the issue on Friday. I have checked all my layer styles to make sure that they are continuous. I created multiple leader styles which I insert into my drawing, choosing the appropriate one for my final scale. I checked the leaderstyle dwg and it has the same issue of dashed lines. This file only has the layer 0 which is continuous and current.

To create my leaders I insert the dwg and then make it the current dimension and text style.

This may seem a strange question but, has the .ctb file been changed at all to print out lines as dashed?

I was in the ctb file to change a different lineweight. Somehow it changed yellow to be dashed. Thank you for your help on the situation.
