pauledward Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 Hi all! Does anyone know how to place text on a solid. I feel really dumb asking this question. I can fake it but it's taking so long. Thanks Quote
fuccaro Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 On a plan surface of a solid? Extrude the text as showed above. If it's not placed right on the desired surface, Union together the letters for easy manipulation. Place it on the surface -maybe using the ALIGN command. Move, rotate and resize it if needed. Finally use the UNION command again to make the text and the solid as one. A 4 years old thread recomes to life Quote
Cad64 Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 I've moved this question to it's own thread, so now you can check the "Similar Threads" at the bottom of this page. Also, have a look at THIS thread. It includes a lisp routine that may be useful. Quote
