I am doing some Mechanical plans and I need a line with an "S" in it and another one with a "W" in it.

Can someone post them for me? Also, do i just cut and paste it into my drawings?

Thank you!!

Might I suggest that you try making them yourself? You do know you can copy and edit linetypes within the acad.lin file right?

The linetypes do not have to be copied and pasted if they exist in your lietype file.

I'm not sure how to do that? I checked to see if I had them already. I don't!!

Any suggestion? :D

Look in Help > Customization Guide > Custom Linetypes

Could you be a bit more specific, as I might have a suitable linetype for adaptation. Firstly, what side of the Atlantic are you? or do you work in imperial or metric units?

Second, the line - continuous, with a short break for the text?

Third, the size and spacing of the text?

I shall have a look and see if I have anything suitable / adaptable :)

Everyone should try their hand at designing one custom linetype. It's good practice and in this case the task would not be that difficult.

Remember the days before Express Tools MKLTYPE, when you had to tinker around in .lin files ?

Yes, I do. I also tinkered around with menu files before the advent of cui files.
