Scoobydoo Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 I have a 6-sided polygon block (we use them for station numbers) that contains annotative text (plots 1/8” on paperspace). When I insert the block in onto the model (the model is setup with an annotation scale of 1:10), the text scales correctly, but the polygon does not. How do I fix this? Quote
BIGAL Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 A block does not auto scale as a rule but if your using Civil 3d yes it will autoscale blocks. The other way is maybe use "filter" blocks and just change x,y scale. If your using annotative text its not going to work. Quote
BIGAL Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 Just another thought rather than a block why not a font charcter use a TTF have a look at windings for a start, The character could be annotative and it would change size automaticly. Check Lee macs recent work regarding placing text at a survey point. Quote

You need to set annnotative for the block. Start the block command, pick the block name, pick annotative, pick ok, yes to redefine. Quote
