harley558 Posted May 6, 2010 Posted May 6, 2010 I am trying to power dimension a part. The problem I keep running into is that what I am trying to acheive Mechanical desktop has other things in mind. For example I have 1 dimension that should read 356.5 +3 then underneath that is FOR ASSEMBLY. When I try to enter the text under my dimension and tolerance it puts the tolerance down with the text and at the end of the text. Quote
ReMark Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 joankan2010: Consult AutoCAD Help topic: Control Appearance of Dimension Text. It provides a more detailed explanation with examples. Short answer: If you are placing text below a dimension line such as TYP. you can attach the text to the dimension by placing a \X right after the default value "" and typing in your text. Quote
