JKNovoa Posted July 26, 2010 Posted July 26, 2010 I'm having the hardest time trying to figure this roof out. What I'm trying to do is take the roof and convert it from its 3D combined state to it's individual planar elements (flat and parallel to the screen). I don't mean: go into paper space once they have been pulled apart, or a different viewpoint after they have been separated. This is completely driving me insane. I can visually see myself grabbing the planes and putting them flat on a piece of paper but why is it so damn hard on ACad'07!? Hope I'm making myself clear. Thanks in advance. Don't let the names confuse you they are in no way Axonometric. (Roof Axon Comb. is the combined version.) Roof Axon Combined.dwg Roof Axon.dwg Quote
viviancarvalho Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 Welcome to the Cadtutor forum. Your problem can be easily solved by the use of a command "flatten". check out the attachment. Regards Vivian Roof Axon Combined.dwg Quote
JKNovoa Posted July 27, 2010 Author Posted July 27, 2010 Thanks for welcoming me and thank you for your immaculate response. This should have been the first place I went but I'm still new to most of ACad's commands. Thank you so much! Quote
