D-Zyne Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 Silly question...when you use the TIME command to track billing hours, etc...and it returns a total in 'days', is that based on a 24hr day (as in 2 days would = 48 hours)? Quote
ReMark Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 I'd be really careful tracking billing hours based upon AutoCAD's TIME command. Personally, I don't see it as being an accurate measure. Quote
Tiger Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 is there anything but a 24 hour day? You can use different ways to present time, but the day is still 24 hours long. Quote
ReMark Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 Maybe the OP is on Mars. In that case a martian day is about 39.5 minutes longer than a terran day! Quote
D-Zyne Posted September 2, 2010 Author Posted September 2, 2010 A comedian in our midst, I see. I figured as much, just wanted to be sure it wasn't working on some kind of 8 hr workday setting or something like that.... Thx Quote
ReMark Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 There was a very long, detailed discussion about tracking one's time here a while back and it led to some interesting comments as well as suggestions (and I think even a couple of lisp routines). Try searching for it and give it a read. It might prove useful. Quote
BIGAL Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 Just did time on my template which I left open while I went to lunch and some other stuff it tells me I have been 1hr 19 mins but I did,nt do anything. I tried a couple of the lisps from here regarding tracking time more from user performance and they work real well because they look for open and close commands, Search here productivity_analysis_tool Quote
