Cad64 Posted June 6, 2010 Posted June 6, 2010 I have renamed your thread to something a little more descriptive. There is no way anyone can help you with this, based on your rough hand drawing. There are no dimensions or callouts to tell us what anything is. How long have you been studying Autocad? I'm sure your instructor has covered enough of the basics for you to at least get started on this project. Show some initiative and make an attempt it before coming here asking for help. We don't give handouts here, but we can help you through this as long as you show us that you are trying to learn. So get started on the drawing and then come back here and post screenshots of your progress. Quote
allansgs Posted June 6, 2010 Author Posted June 6, 2010 i figured it out.this is what i wanted to obtain. Quote
Tankman Posted June 6, 2010 Posted June 6, 2010 Well that's a start. Looks as if you didn't use the array command. Did you? Quote
kencaz Posted June 6, 2010 Posted June 6, 2010 Are they really using 2006 at your school...?!!! KC Quote
allansgs Posted June 6, 2010 Author Posted June 6, 2010 Well that's a start. Looks as if you didn't use the array command. Did you? i used divide, explode and trim Are they really using 2006 at your school...?!!! KC i guess they don't buy the licensed software every year Quote
ReMark Posted June 6, 2010 Posted June 6, 2010 Looks like it could use some more work. Any dimensions with this project? I'm not going to do it for you but I'd be interested in seeing what the instructor provided in way of information. Quote
allansgs Posted June 6, 2010 Author Posted June 6, 2010 i had a step by step tutorial in my notebook but i couldn't find it and that is why i was asking for help.that's all i had to do.no dimensions were specified . Quote
ReMark Posted June 6, 2010 Posted June 6, 2010 "No dimensions were specified." I'd give your teacher a grade of "F" then for preparation. Unless this is a free-form design class "make-it-up-as-you-go" is not a very good teaching technique. So what dimensions did you use? Quote
ReMark Posted June 6, 2010 Posted June 6, 2010 For starters I would have constructed one of the "T" shapes and used Polar Array to precisely locate the required number of them around the inner edge of my circle. What did you do? Come to think of it the same technique could be used for the objects within the circle (8 arcs). Should take all of about a minute to do total. Quote
Eatonpcat Posted June 7, 2010 Posted June 7, 2010 How's this look? I give you an "A". These help me threads are jokes....Correct?? Quote
lortech Posted June 7, 2010 Posted June 7, 2010 Now the question is, what is it? It sort of reminds me of oil pump for a vehicle but not even close BTW, big improvment from the first image you drew up. Quote
ricalyn03 Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 You don't really finish your homework if you don't have time with it. Just wanted to ask if what is your other businesses that is why you are to busy you don't have time with your homework? I think you need to know what is your priority now. Good luck! Quote
lpseifert Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 Hmmm... nice first post you do realize that this thread is about 3 months old Quote
patricia39 Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 As I have studied your drawing, I think there are no dimensions to tell us what to do. Do you have any idea what is the problem of your drawing so that we can help you in your homework? Quote
