bill_borec Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 I would recommend that you check out several of the tutorials here on CadTutor and YouTube regarding point importing, surface generation, TIN, surface management, surface rendering, textures, etc. That said, I notice that your point file does not have any point numbers or descriptors (not a problem that cannot be solved, but missing nonetheless). What can any of us do to help? Quote
RapTox Posted February 16, 2012 Author Posted February 16, 2012 Thanx for the Reply I can create the surface and everything but cannot seem to add Rendering detail like topo srface texture and colour and missing quite a few option which i used in Autodesk Built in Tutorial . And how can i label the Ponts . Quote
rickh Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 pick the surface in the drawing, right-click, "edit surface style". Go to display tab. You can turn on whatever you want shown with that style. Look at all the other options within this edit style dialog as well. For labelling points, if you just want to see where the points are on the surface, use the style dialog above. If you actually want to label the points with information, you can use the point editor. within the point editor, you can apply a point style (how the point looks/behaves) as well as a point label style (how the label looks/behaves). The recurring theme here is to figure out the styles of the civil 3d objects. And like bill said, look for tutorials and videos, and the civil 3d help files. Quote
