Hi guys,

I saw on lee mac' site this lisp - http://lee-mac.com/objectlock.html - and seems to be a very useful lisp. anybody has somethig similar? maybe a lisp like this will be useful to lock only position of two (or many) objects - i mean, to make a connection between two (or many) objects so that when i move one object, the other to move together with the first one... What do you think Lee, can you do that? Thanks!!

Constraints may work also an object has to be a certain distance away from the first no real programing required.

The build-in GROUP command will serve right for this purpose.

Welcome to the forum. :)

I had previously thought that BIGAL's suggestion was good, and it was, :thumbsup:

but as one who has only dabbled in constraints, I think Mircea's idea may just be the path of least resistance for a broader GROUP of users. :beer:

The group is a good idea the real advantage in constraints is you can include rules change the size of the first object say x 2 now distance is x 2

rad=1/2*circ1

The OP appears to use AutoCAD 2008, which AFAIK does not have Constraints.

Besides GROUP, they could also be made into a block.
