keyboard shortcut for REGION?

Well ive searched and i cant find one.Could anyone please help with this as typing REGION repeatedly is annoying

"REG" should be the predefined one; but you may add one by yourself in ACAD.PGP file. To access this file, paste the code below on command line:

(startapp "NOTEPAD" (findfile "acad.pgp"))

thanks for that .I am too much of a noob to try and add a custom one...

On the said file, search for this line:

REG, *REGION

and change it to the shortcut you are willing to have; for example:

RG, *REGION

After, save the file and call REINIT command and force re-loading of ACAD.PGP file.

You can use the ALIASEDIT command at the commandline then ENTER, then select your own,

Mircea is right the default one is REG, which is a lot shorter than REGION.
