ReMark Posted July 6, 2012 Posted July 6, 2012 Not sure why your thread failed to get a response. Let's give it a *bump* and see what happens today. Quote
JD Mather Posted July 6, 2012 Posted July 6, 2012 Probably because this is an advanced topic that would take at least a week of classroom instruction. Probably a little difficult to answer on an internet forum. How much basic training have you had with Inventor (post some examples of what you have done). How much Routed Systems training have you had with Inventor? Inventor is a professional program and deserves (requires?) a professional level of training. You might be able to find some information here http://au.autodesk.com Have you gone through the Help>Learning Tools>Tutorials and Skillbuilders? You see how this turns into a game of 20 questions since you supplied almost no information. Quote

JohnK_TEDCF Posted July 6, 2012 Posted July 6, 2012 I agree with JD, you definetly could benefit from some training. There are many different avenues for training out there, you just need to find one that suites you. My company offers video based training on DVD or download from our website. We offer over 44 hours of training for Inventor over 7 courses. One of those courses strictly deals with the Tube & Pipe environment. Since your new to Inventor, I would recommend purchasing the bundle of all of our courses. It would definetly help you out. www.trainingtutorial.com If your looking for a different type of training, the Mastering Autodesk books by Curtis Waguespack are very good as well. http://www.amazon.com/Mastering-Autodesk-Inventor-2013-LT/dp/111827430X/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1341593546&sr=8-1&keywords=autodesk+inventor+2013 If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. lulumara Posted July 6, 2012 Author Posted July 6, 2012 (edited) Thanks for the responds , I'm a novice in Inventor, so I need to learn the trick about to produce Piping route. I did play around but never get the right way to route a Pipe. It 's more eaier for Solidworks Routing than Inventor. Just learning by myself with the help of this forum and reading help inInventor, and also You Tube. Edited July 6, 2012 by lulumara Quote
lulumara Posted July 10, 2012 Author Posted July 10, 2012 I can work on 3D model in Inventor but I'm kinda confused how to manipulate routing pipes. I did play with but some times I'm stuck on doing re routing of pipes. How I can made Route in Pipes: Create a Pipe Run/ save/Tube & Pipe Run/ New Route/save/route/Point your cursor to an Axis or wall of fittings/ After that lines or route line made/I can rotate the direction of route line of pipe/ That's what I learn from reading Help in AutoDesk. I hope some one can guide me more to work on Routing it's kinda different than Solidworks. Quote

lulumara Posted July 10, 2012 Author Posted July 10, 2012 How much training did you get with SolidWorks? Less than a year and with lots of practiced maybe more than a year. Then work with company with Solidworks& Autocad = 1.5 years. Quote
