BryanC Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 Hi I installed AutoCAD LT 2013 on Friday. Everything was working fine until this morning. I found, as of this morning that my keyboard shortcuts don't work. eg 'l' to draw a line or 'e' to erase an object. When I try to edit the acadlt.pgp file (Tools/customize/edit program parameters) I get the error message acadlt.pgp could not be found. I read in another thread that after changed are made to that file the 'reinit' command should be run. on doing this i get the error message ' Dialogs are not available because DCL files are not loaded' Please help me get my shortcuts back. Regards Bryan Quote
ReMark Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 Did you experience any problems during the install? Have you verified that the path to acadlt.pgp is correct? Quote

ReMark Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 The path depends are whether you are using a 32-bit or a 64-bit OS. I'm assuming Win7? Quote

SLW210 Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 Type (FINDFILE "acadlt.pgp") on the command line to get the path where AutoCAD is looking. In Windows search for acadlt.pgp to find the location. Quote
BryanC Posted August 30, 2012 Author Posted August 30, 2012 Hi Thanks for the replies. I solved by doing a re-installing. I thought there should be a better way, but this turned out to be the quickest. Thanks B Quote
ReMark Posted August 30, 2012 Posted August 30, 2012 Usually I recommend try the REPAIR option before re-installing but if it worked for you then that is all that matters. Glad to hear your problem was solved. Quote
