Moving a polyline stretches the other one - not wanted action?

I've got two polyline rectangles next to another. When I move the other one, the next one stretches with the one that is moved and that is not what I want. What am I doing wrong, some system variable maybe?

check that you haven't got geometric constraints enabled.

How would I do that?

ah - not sure. I had problems you have before turning it off.

on my machine the first icon in the bottom left corner of the screen is "infer constraints". Right click that and in settings make sure the box is not ticked.
