Trickworm Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 My hard drive crashed last week. Put a new hard drive in and reloaded AutoCAD. I still have my directory with a lot of custom hatch patterns. I cannot remember how to load them back into my program to use. Any help?? Thanks, Steve Quote
ReMark Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 Is the location of the folder where these hatch patterns reside included in your support file search path? Quote
Trickworm Posted February 24, 2013 Author Posted February 24, 2013 ReMark, No, the location of the folder is just in my root directory. My hard drive crashed, and I had someone help me recover my data off the bad drive. I recovered the folder that had the hatch patterns in it..but have not put it anywhere specific. I have just reinstalled AutoCAD 2008 to my computer, but have not moved hatch directory off my root directory. Where should I put it to show up in my program? Thanks, Steve Quote
hugha Posted February 25, 2013 Posted February 25, 2013 All you need do is include the directory containing your hatch patterns on the support file search path (Tools:Options) and the patterns will be listed on the Custom tab within the hatch dialog. Edit the support file search path to suit if you move the patterns to another location. Quote
