adnanhb Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 Hello All, I am attempting to draw a cable tray layout in Autocad 2010. I am very much new to Autocad so please pardon if my question seems to be too basic. Basically, i want to draw a cable tray on pedestals which are arranged in a rectangular area. Now, I can draw bends so that the tray stay on pedestals but my question is how to draw the tray that is equidistant from both the corners of the pedestal? There are 6 pedestals arranged in a rectangular manner. All the pedestals are of equal length and width. Hope my question is clear. Thanks in advance. Quote
ReMark Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 Is this a 2D or 3D drawing? If it is 2D you have a couple (or more) ways of doing it. One way would be to draw the centerline of the cable tray then offset to either side. Another option would be to find, download and use the old DLINE command and Center option. Quote
