Which size do you use to print off a drawing that can be folded into A4 size?

You can fold any size(however large it is) into a4 size.:)

there is way to do it.

we use to fold a1 sizes into a4 for filing in such away that without removing it from the file, u can open it to full size to view.8)

i learnt it during my internship back in 1994.

yeh its the "A" system all paper sizes from A00 down to the smallest are all of a result from combining the previous size by 2 or by 4 and re-aranging.

How to fold drawings was the first thing I learnt when I started working...it took a while to master it, but fortunatly there are always a lot of drawings that need folding

hunt up anyone in your office that have worked with drawings for more than oh let's say five years - the more the better - and they can show you :)

What's a PJ? What is A5? I've never seen A5 before.

Dipali, don't worry about Dave, he has this really dry sense of humour, and just saw the perfect opening there. :P

I think you cannot fold any size sheet more than 7 times, 'geometric progression' is it?

Yes it is a great party trick and you would be amazed how many people get caught out on that one... Hahaha:lol:

Somewhat true, but Mythbusters did it. Of course it was a sheet of paper the size of an aircraft hangar.

Here it is Paper Fold they folded it 11 times.

That is amazing, after 6 times it is almost impossible to do without extreme force, and i do mean extreme force. Wow that's incredible.
