Architectural Desktop

I know you dont have a section for Architectual Desktop. I was wondering if we could start one? I think it has become a standard for the architectural community and I am sure there is a lot to discuss on the topic, tutorials, how too's etc....

That's a very good idea. Unfortunately I don't use Architectural Desktop myself so I wouldn't be much use but I'd be happy to start a new board for this if you're willing to moderate it. Or you could recommend someone else who could. Any takers?

I would be happy too. Although I dont think I would be able to monitor or modify it as much as you seem to due to work and time. I have yet to use the new version but here in my office I use Architectural Desktop 2 and AutoCAD as well as Solidworks. I am sure if you post a column on the topic people will respond. Although I think the forum could use some more members. All within time. This is the best forums I have used concerning CAD and related programs.

OK, that's fine by me. I'll set up the new board and make you a moderator. I won't hold you to anything but if you know anyone else who could share responsibilities that would be great.

This thing really has come a looooong way now, hasn't it?
And records are still being set... just look at the most posts in 24 hours stat. It was set yesterday!

I also welcome the addition of an ADT board. If I can be of any help plaes ask. We have been using ADT now for approx 3 years. Still learning an almost vertical curve.

Well, I'll help with this one as well. I use ADT-2005 at work now. I don't use all of it power but I do use it. I am still learning it.

This thread was started a long time ago and the upshot was that I created a specific forum for ADT but it was rarely used and so was amalgamated into the "Autodesk software" forum when the board was rationalised about 12 months ago. If you guys think there is now a demand for a specific ADT forum, I'm more than happy to provide it. No doubt that the forum is getting busier and maybe the time is now right.

Let's have a few more opinions...
