Default Creating a Border

Hello,

I am creating a border template to save for future drawings. The border will be size D or 22x34. If I begin by creating a rectangle in model space should my rectangle be 22x34 or slightly smaller?

Thanks.

A few comments/questions...

1) Wouldn't you want the border to be in a layout with a preconfigured page setup?
2) You can have a rectangle that represents the edge of paper, but it won't plot of course. The actual border of the sheet should be inside the dashed line which represents the printable area.

Thanks for your help - that's what I suspected.

In regards to making your template..if you are doing this and want to put a fancy logo in the corner,so that it prints with the border..how do you do that..?Place it there as a raster?? Mike

I just copy/pasted my logo into my template border sheet.
If you have a logo with a transparent background, type TRANSPARENCY on the command line. Select the image, then type "off".
You will also need to turn the frame off or it will print. Enter IMAGEFRAME and set the value to "0". If you want to do anything at all to the image, you'll need to turn the image frame back on.
