CarlB Posted December 27, 2009 Share Posted December 27, 2009 To make existing objects have z=0, try the "flatten" command. if command not recognized, you may have to install Express Tools, from the installation disk. tzframpton Posted December 27, 2009 Share Posted December 27, 2009 Hey lpseifert I went searching through the help file regarding those fancy coordinate entries and I couldn't find exactly what you typed and what it meant. lpseifert Posted December 27, 2009 Share Posted December 27, 2009 Under Units, it's Scientific (exponential notation) 1e99 means 1 times 10 to the 99th power (very large number) I think.... since these numbers are beyond acad's ability to process accurately, acad sees them as the largest number that can be processed. So the Z value + the displacement value of 1e99 essentially equals 1e99. It may have something to do with acad's precision only being 16 decimal spaces.
