FlashTzu
I am looking for a way to label points on my design as easily and quickly with the coordinates. Id like to annotate using a leader that will give me the X,Y coordinates of the point I select. Basic Example. X 27.2843 , Y 2.331 ----------------------------------> . 2nd Thing. I would like either on the same leader or a separate one if need be to annotate the distance from the point to the center of the curve. X 27.2843 , Y 2.331 ----------------------------------> . A 2.34 , B 4.22 A is distance from x to 0 of the curve. B is distance from Y to 0 of the curve. P.S. sorry if this is a common question please link to thread(I have been looking unsuccessfully) thank you for your time.

Dana W
The X and Y values locate a single point in a 2D matrix. I don't understand how either value separately can have relevance to any other point. The X value can occur at infinite locations along the Y axis, and the Y value can also occur at infinite points along the X axis. Be that as it may, use a multi-leader with a User-Block containing one or more fields. The coordinates can be found in Object Properties in the field insert dialog. You can select for X, Y, and/or Z, one at a time or all together. I was looking at the field insert dialog but could not find a way to obtain a distance between two objects, but I didn't spend much time at it. I am sure it can be done. An easier way might be a dimension with all lines and arrowheads suppressed or turned off. EDIT: See why I didn't spend much time looking? I knew BIGAL would beat me to it. Or do I need to find a lisp for that?
