Elwillem
Hi, I was wondering if it is possible to make a layout with ofc a viewport but instead the viewport is linked to modelspace (like it is normally) that i can make a viewport that is linked to another lay out. Example; Layout one is the world. Layout two is only Europe. Also i want to make something general bcs my plans have a scale range from 1/100 to 1/350. Thanks, hope its clear what i mean. ReMark
Yes, it's possible. You might want to use a polygonal viewport for the second layout showing just Europe but both layouts will be using just the one world map that sits over in model space. There would be no "link" between the two layouts other than that.
Elwillem
So, a viewport is always 'linked' to your modelspace? It isn't possible to make a viewport from another lay out. If you can confirm that thansk a lot for the fast reaction.
ReMark
Viewports in layouts are merely windows that allow one to see what they created over in model space. Set yours up the way I mentioned and you should be fine.
