  2. Hello everyone, I'm new in this forum page, I'm tired of search something that could help me solving my problem but nothing's worked yet! The problem is that I had installed the Autodesk 2013 in my PC for the first time ever, everything was perfect! It worked really cool and since a month ago I was beggining to do some serious projects by myself. Five days ago, I noticed that Autocad was giving me some problems like, the cursor dissapeared when working on it (And it didn't appear even if I close the Autocad) and some other problems so I decided to reinstall it. I did everything as the official page said, delete everything from everywhere, including the registries. Then, I open the installer that the page offers to all users (It's like an executable file that just creates the Autodesk folder in the direction you want), then it itself opens a setup of autocad (The window that have that big stadium as a background) that says "Iniliatizing" but after a minute then, appears another windows that says "A software problem has caused Autodesk Installer to close unexpectedly" and it contains a chart where I can write details and my e-mail address, also it has a report details view buttom that says "Report contents adsk_setup_minidump.dmp, dmpuserinfo.xml and dumpdata.zip" and it doesn't let me install Autocad back again! Please, I'm tired of seach for solutions and couldn't find one! Let me know if you know how to solve this problem. MY PC: WINDOWS 7. 64Bit SP1 Intel Core i7-2600 CPU @ 3.40GHz 8Gb RAM NVIDIA GeForce GTX 550 Ti.
  3. I haven't used Inventor in about 4 years, and I tried to create a project in Inventor using the 2013 version, but once I created a project file a bunch of the original settings got messed up. I now can't open a drawing, assembly, or presentation from the home window that pops up. I can only use the drop down icon to open a part file. Also, because I can't access the home drop down menu I can't specify whether I want the project to be measured in metric or english format. I think that I may have deleted the source of these files, but I couldn't find them in my trash on the computer and I'm not very tech savvy. How can I reset my inventor to the original settings so I can actually use it properly again? Thank you!!
  4. Hi All How to change the settings (if it has) for opening another drawing. because for example I opened an autocad file, and again i want to open another file, when I opened another file it will not display in the same window which I first opened, it is very hard for me to put my mouse pointer on the taskbar to choose that drawing and again return in another drawing, better if using the windows button inside the autocad. here is the image just to be clear on what i am trying to ask. THANKS.
  5. Hi All, New to the community, hoping for a miracle! I've been asked by my employer to open a file pertaining to an old project that has recently been re-opened. I've never worked on the file and, as such, have no idea what might have happened to it. It's a large file (approx. 13mb), drawn in ACAD2007. We now use Autocad Architecture 2010 in the office. I've tried opening it on 3 office computers and on my own at home, all yielding the same results. When the file is opened, it opens slowly but apparently successfully, with the last saved view of the file appearing in Autocad. The progress bar disappears but it continues to read opening 'C://****.dwg' at the bottom of the window. This is as far as it ever goes. I've tried recovering the file and no problems show up, but it still won't completely open. I thought it might have to do with a hidden dialog box, but no luck. I assume its a problem with the file, and in that case, what are our options? Thanks, Mike
