Differenent visual styles for dwg

Hi all,

Is there any chance to use at my XREF DWG file a Hidden visual style and at my working DWG file a Wireframe style? (for Model space- not to layouts)

I have some DWG files from ARCHICAD and I want to make them xref files (base files) to work with.

The problem is that they have to much info and solid hatches. The only things I want to see (make visible) are the Lines and hatches like the concrete, insulation etc.

You will find attached 2 files:

1. How my dwg looks like - with WIREFRAME VISUAL STYLE (I DONT WANT IT)

2. How my dwg looks like - with HIDDEN VISUAL STYLE (I WANT TO LOOK LIKE THIS)

P.S. Now, I have to "clean" my xref file before I use it. I explode blocks with solid hatches to erase them- delete also other solid hatches etc.

As far as I know, you can't apply a separate visual style to an xref. I would put all the hatches in the xref on the same layer and freeze that layer in the working drawing.
