  1. the instructions are "Above the range is a hood with a light and fan. Include the instructions VENT TO OUTSIDE AIR along with a note indicating this range hood." Not sure how to represent this still. Elsewhere it says to place 220volts where necessary. I have not put any so was just curious if these appliances needed them. They did not specify whether it was electric or gas for the dryer, so I would assume electric and put a 220 volt outlet I suppose.
  2. Hi, I am almost finished with the drawing, just have a few questions which is why I wanted the picture. I am not sure what to put above the range. Do I need a symbol or just " Vent to outside air" and label the range hood? The refrigerator, washer and dryer get 220 outlets? the circle with 3 lines through it and 220 subscript so to speak? Thanks for your help in advance!
  3. Hi, Does anyone have a screenshot of plate 4-1 electrical drafting elective? Thanks!
  4. Hi, I am having a very basic problem with the electrical drafting project. I have finished both plates and now ready to insert my title block. However for plate 1 they say use the title block at a scale of 1=1. Does this mean I cannot scale the title block to fit around the drawing, or do I scale down the drawing to fit in the 17x11 title block? No other project has stated this, so just a bit confused.

    -Penn Foster? HVAC transition piece

This is what I have come up with following instructions that I found online, though they were for a symmetrical piece. I know something is wrong as my arc on the inside isn't correctly meeting the lines for each point. However, I do not know what. Please help when able. Project 7 - PLATE 3.dwg

Yes I am. I have seen the pictures of Plate 3 posted. It shows that the end result is supposed to be but not how to get there. I attached a picture of where I have reached. I assume I do the same thing on the left side but not sure what to do next on the right.

    -Penn Foster? HVAC transition piece

Hi, I think I followed the text correctly to find the true lengths. It's what to do next that I am stuck at. I think I have what you said correct now. Thank you so much for helping me and everyone on these forums out especially on a Saturday.

    -Penn Foster? HVAC transition piece

Hi, I think I have done what you described. I drew line A-B and at each point A and B I drew a 10" radius circle with A and B as the center. Then drew line A-10 and B-10. However this line is shorter than what is on the front view. So now I am really confused. I have attached the file as you asked. As I mentioned before the only textbooks I was using is what was provided by Penn Foster. I have also attached the booklet that describes what I need to accomplish.

    Civil drafting school project help

Hi, Updated dwg. file. I noticed some errors I had made. Want to know if I am doing this write before I begin plate 4. I added in the culvert which was missing as well as I changed the scale on the top.
