  1. I've spent some time writing up the following tutorial which aims to demonstrate how to construct a simple block counter and in the process give the user an introduction to association lists and dotted pairs: Building Association Lists: A Simple Block Counter The tutorial is a step-by-step walkthrough of the process of creating the block counter, with diversions here and there to explain the various concepts used by the program. Throughout the tutorial I've also tried to explain why every part of the code is used in the way that it is, rather than providing the reader with a block of code and leaving some parts without an explanation (for example, why the program should include (princ) or (prin1) as the last expression etc.). I welcome your feedback on the tutorial - Is it too simplified? Is it too long? Too boring? All of the above? Feel free to also point out any typos, as these can be difficult to spot when proof-reading your own work. Thanks, Lee
  2. I am trying to QLATTACH some errant leaders to their respective text. In my QLEADER (S)ettings I have: Annotation Type: Mtext Options: prompt for width Reuse: None Leader Line & Arrow Leader Line: straight Points: 2 Arrowhead: closed filled First segment constraint: any angle Second segment constraint: horizontal Multiline Text Attachment Text on left side: middle of bottom line Text on right side: middle of top line Underline bottom line: unchecked However, when I QLATTACH the leader to text, it wants to add a point to the leader and either underline the bottom line (which is unchecked, remember) or maybe it is trying to associate with the middle of the bottom line instead of the middle of the top line (text is all justified to top left). See attached. The top leader and mtext is what it should look like; the bottom leader and mtext is what I get when I try to QLATTACH. I'm probably overlooking something simple, but I can't figure out what it may be. Something in STYLE, maybe?

    .cuix association

Hi, I've just tried viewing my .cuix file in notepad to see if I could manually edit it and while doing so I inadvertantly left the 'Always use the selected program to open this kind of file' checkbox. I then associated it with AutoCAD, but since checking with a colleague, it seems it should be associated with an 'Unknown Program'. While AutoCAD launches with my customisation as it should be, I just wondered if this association will cause any issues in the future? Either way, I would still like to return it to it's original state, so is there any way I can do this, either through windows (no luck so far from Control Panel apps) or by using regedit? Im using AutoCADLT2011 on Windows Vista. Regards. PS. Just saw I posted this in the wrong forum. Sorry, perhaps a moderator can move it?
