We have changed the color, line weight and description of specific layers. We used to use Layer state to update the layers, now we use the design center. Changes made in Example 1. Example 2 has the wrong layers - so Design center is open, layers from Example 1 are dragged and dropped into Example 2. Layers still wrong. Example1.dwg This is the Example 1.

Combine several separate drawings into one multi-tab drawing? Help!!

I have 10 separate drawing files that I want to combine into one drawing and I want each drawing to be on a separate layout. I want to end up with one drawing with 10 layout tabs each containing the graphics from one drawing. Each drawing has one layout with the graphics on it. No fancy paper space / model space stuff. No viewport scaling. I thought this could be done via Design Center but I've never used that. I'm looking for input on the quickest way to achieve this. I may have to do this over and over. Please advise (and instruct) Thanks.. -
I've tried dragging layers across drawings using the design center interface, but what I've noticed is that while the layer in question gets copied over, the layer is empty. The objects within the layer do not get copied over. How do I copy objects AND layers that I've selected across drawings using Autocad Design Center? THANKS!! -
hi, i am using cad designcenter blocks for bolt and nuts what happened while dragging (whether i have done it or not) the nut size is 4 times bigger is coming i gone checked in the source file of design center it is ok there but when i drag i from the paletter it shows size more and the same component if i drag in another drg. its ok thell me how to solve it. because i working in that file

Hello; I am having trouble with blocks that I am not using anymore in my file. I have inserted blocks from other files using design center, dragging it to my new file. In my new file I exploded the blocks. It doesn´t let me purge it, and it still appears in the design center of my new file, eventhough it is not in the file any more, since I exploded it. I have tons of blocks that I can not purge, and the size of my file is huge. I have been using design center because copy and pasting was giving me trouble because of some ".dot block duplicated" alert, and was taking a lot of time for pasting. thanks for any help..
