  1. I can change the number from -100 to +100. What this value means?
  2. I am creating my first very simple gears for learning dynamic analysis. I followed a youtube video to create two gears, then I try to run the analysis. When I create a cylinder-to-cylinder joint, it asks for the cylinders (which are the gears) and the origins of those gears. I can set the gears easily, but I cannot set the origins. Please help. I attached the assembly file here. Sorry that the forum do not take *.iam file, so I zip the file Assembly1.zip
  3. Dear all, I create Layout using Inventor, save the file into AUTOCAD DWG format, and then load it to AutoCad. After I open it, the predetermine dimensions (which I select to display the dimension in Inventor) are right. However, the dimension goes wrong if I do a new measurement on the Layout using Autocad. For example, 3 inch distance could be 0.212 in AutoCad (Note I just make up the number, I just want to show the problem is not inch to mm problem), . Please help Thanks I use Autocad 2007 and Inventor 2008
  4. I work at a sheet metal fabricating shop and we get files from clients using Inventor. I have to take their dwg's program them for our laser machine or waterjet, or plasma cutter. I am using Autocad LT 2011. we use Fabriwin to actually program the machines. Ok back to what i'm looking for. I need to know what is the cheapest way to open, view and get dimensions from Inventor type dwg's. Thanks
