  1. Hi thanks for looking, I have a problem with pdf'ing, my text comes out in random shades both when exporting and plotting to pdf. when viewed in adobe acrobat it displays as below weirdly when viewed in a nuance reader it displays fine. the pdf also prints to hardcopy fine, but clients mostly look at pdf's in adobe. any ideas??
  2. I have one drawing that refuses to plot color 254 (25% screened gray) as gray - it plots black instead when using ACAD's native plot .dwg to .pdf. This is only occurring in one drawing, which did crash on me a few days ago and required recovering. If I open any other drawings and plot to .pdf, everything looks fine. Any ideas?
  3. Has anyone seen or head of this error before, and does anyone have any suggestions on how to stop it happening. It does seem to be a random occurrence. When I plot to PDF the letters are coming in rotated about 90 degrees. No Idea why.
  4. Hello, I'm having a issue with pdfs plotted from CAD that are being used for Bluebeam software where the pdf is unusable. The file size is less that 1mb, I have unticked the box to include layer information in the plot pdf options, but the file is sluggish zooming in and out etc. Can anyone help with this problem? Cheers!
  5. Hi, Guys i have 4 views in a drawing, (view the screen shot below) i have to plot these 4 views into a pdf document, (each view into a seperate page in the PDF ) now imagine me doing this for 40+ drawings files, in which each of the drawing file also has 4 or more views (this process is really frusturating ) I know about the layout setting method,(Setting up layouts for 40x4views is hard ) I tried a work around of plotting the full view of the 4 documents into A0 PDF, and then cropping and splitting the PDF pages, (This is also hard ) any ideas, methods or software recommendations are appreciated,

    PDF Layouts

Part of my position requires me to upload a PDF of the layout for our floorplans. My question is- How do I make sure the layout stays the same every time? I plot to PDF several times a day and it seems like the second time I plot, the layout goes the opposite direction that I previously setup- under Page Setup Manager... So, I have to start over several times, setting up the layouts when I wish I could just hit plot and go. Does anyone know if there is something I missing or does this happen to anyone else? Is there a save function I am missing here? Thank you!
